The flaming femme behind Cherry Poppins has been performing with Kings N Things since she moved to Austin in 2003. She started as a guest but quickly pledged her undying devotion and first-born child to the cause of the troupe. She's been rockin' it ever since. She was somehow conned into co-producing IDKE8 (8th International Drag King Community Extravaganza, held right here, y'all, in 2006) - but instead of growing tired of this motley crew, she fell in love with 'em anew and took over as Kings N Things Producer that year, following in the footsteps of past producers Hunter Down and Kit T Pink. She's seen a whole lotta drag from all across the country, and she still believes that we have some special magic going on in ATX.

Ms. Poppins likes real pearls, fake fur, cheap red wine, and MAC Viva Glam. She's a grammar nerd, a teacher's pet, and a bit of a goody-two-shoes, but she knows that ladies can, indeed, curse like sailors. When not strutting her stuff on stage or kicking ass behind the scenes, she's crafting or trying to finish one of the six knitting projects in the works, reorganizing her disaster of a closet, being all bookwormy, lingering over coffee at Epoch with a friend or two, or playing Scrabble (etc) with her hubs and partner-in-crime, Mr. Poppins.
